| Adelbert Wardner Adelbert L. Wardner, 79, of 5499 Comfort Hollow Road, passed away peacefully, Wednesday (September 7, 2016) at his home.
Born in Olean, September 27, 1936, the son of Vinton E. and Blanche (Coon)Wardner, he had attended the Bolivar School, and then joined the US Air Force and served from 1954-1956. He had worked for the Oil Field in Bolivar for many years, and most recently volunteered for the Office of the Aging.
He was predeceased by his parents and a brother Martin Wardner.
He is survived by Joanne Rose Wardner whom he married August 20, 2003, they spent 14 happy years together, he also survived by 2 children Dana Vinton Wardner, and Betsy Jean Ramsay, 4 step children, Burdett Crandall, Annetta Butler, James Crandall, and Elaine Stephens, his sister Roxanne Hewitt, step grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held Sunday (September 11, 2016) at 1:00pm at the Brown & Powers Funeral Home 101 West Avenue in Angelica, with Rev. David Ford officiating. Burial will be in the Until the Day Dawn Cemetery. |
