- Mrs. May Virginia Scott, 84, a lifelong resident of Charleston until recently, died last night at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Robert E. Allen of Aurora, with whom she had made her home for some months.
She was born May 7, 1871, the daughter of Albert and Harriet Pixler Wardner. She had been a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Charleston by the Kiger-Williams Funeral Home of Kingwood, for funeral services Friday at 3 p. m. in the First Presbyterian Church. Dr. George Vick will officiate and burial will be made in Spring Hill Cemetery.
She was the widow of Harvey M. Scott, who died 32 years ago. For many years she made her home with a sister-in-law, Mrs. Ida Jim Scott.
Surviving to the addition to the Aurora daughter, Miss Elizabeth Scott of Charleston; two brothers, Dr. A. E. Wardner of Oklahoma, City and Russell of Whittier, Calif., and three grandsons.
