Notes |
- Mrs. Wardner, wife of Rev. C. Wardner, died of pneumonia last week Tuesday at Clarksville, Allegany county. The burial took place here last Sunday from the Baptist Church; sermon by Rev. C. E. Christian. Mr. and Mrs. Wardner had resided here for some time. He has not preached for a few years. This winter the church at Clarksville gave him a call and he concluded to accept, and they moved there about two weeks ago. Mr. and Mrs. Wardner bad just passed their fiftieth wedding day. She was a person who was well liked by all who knew her. She joined the Baptist Church while young and had always been an earnest worker, striving in all ways to uphold the hands of her husband, who will miss
her so much in his ministerial labors.
