- Marion K. Haywood, 64, of Mexico Street, died Sunday at the House of the Good Samaritan Hospital, Watertown.
Born in Potsdam, she had lived in the Altmar area for the past 30 years.
Mrs. Haywood was employed with Emkay Candle Co. for 25 years, retiring in 1987. She was a member of the United Steelworkers union.
Her husband, Earl, died in 1981.
Surviving are her mother, Dora Jerome of Potsdam; seven sons, Floyd, Eugene, Dale and Kevin, all of Altmar, Robert of Potsdam, and Terry and Darryll, both of Pulaski; two daughters, Sharon Horning and Zona Oakes, both of Altmar; three stepsons, Richard Haywood of DeKalb Junction, Lawrence Haywood of Ogdensburg and Gary Haywood of Potsdam; a step-daughter, Sally Bump of Altmar; three brothers, Merv, George and Mike Jerome, all of Potsdam; three sisters, Hilda Keleher, Alberta Hoyt and Elizabeth Jerome, all of Potsdam; 24 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home, 7385 Park St.
