- Dawn Marie Bennett, 65, of Kaleva, died Saturday, October 16, 2010, at Spectrum Health Blodgett Campus in Grand Rapids. She was born August 13, 1945, in Munising, the daughter of Lesti and Arthur (King) Fraly. Dawn had various jobs throughout her life. She had worked as an over the road trucker with her husband, Ron, for 15 years. She then went on to work at Nabco in Kaleva. Dawn loved to go on camping trips with her family, and she also loved the Bowers Annual Canoe Trip. Dawn enjoyed playing cribbage, jigsaw puzzles, bingo, and yard sales. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family. Dawn is survived by: children, Penny Rose of Batesville, Arkansas, Irene Dawn Rose of Batesville, Arkansas, Kimm Brown of Washington, Billy Wade Rose of Batesville Arkansas, and Kerry (Diane) Brown of Warren; siblings, Richard (Ruby) Fraly of Kaleva, Nettie Dye of Kaleva, Joyce Hatch of Sault St. Marie, Nancy Barkley of Interlachan, Florida, Jackie Stearns of Warren, Sharon Bowers of Brethren, Carl (Ellie) Fraly of Kaleva, and Tim Fraly of Kaleva; grandchildren, Lily, Carl, Danielle, Blake, Zach, Shae, Jess, Conner, and Devon; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. On July 7, 1981, in Onekama, Dawn married Ronald Gilbert Bennett who preceded her in death in 2008. She was also preceded in death by: her parents; her brothers, Donald Fraly, James Burgess, Arthur Fraly, Lawrance Fraly, Robert Fraly, Robert Fraly, and Raymond Burgess; sisters, Louellen Fraly, Elaine Lovegrove, Violet Ray, and Mary Johnson. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, October19, 2010, at the Terwilliger Funeral Home, in Kaleva. Interment will take place in the Brethren Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until time of services at the Terwilliger Funeral Home. The Terwilliger Funeral Home, in Kaleva, is in charge of arrangements. www.terwiligerfuneralhome.com
