- Lucille L. LaBrake, 92, of East River Drive, passed away Saturday, 4/21/2018 at her home, surrounded by her loving family, following a long illness. Born 3/13/1926 in Potts, she was the daughter of the late Elmer & Maude Wilmart. She married Arthur J. LaBrake on 2/27/1945. The couple moved to in 1953 & lived on Main Street for many years. In their 36th year of marriage, Arthur sadly passed away on 5/31/1981. Most recently, Lucille resided with her daughter in Lake Luzerne. She was very dedicated to her family and provided child care in her home for many years. She was a communicant of the Church of the Immaculate Conception/Holy Mother and Child Parish of Corinth. She enjoyed cooking, shopping & taking long rides with her family. Of all her interests, her family always came first. She is survived by 3 daughters, 1 son; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 24 at Holy Mother and Child Parish, Corinth with Rev. Kenneth Swain, officiating. At her request there are no public calling hours. A celebration of her life will be held at 454 E. River Dr., Lake Luzerne at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorials should take the form of donations to the local food pantries.
