On September 21, 1941, Kenneth married Marjorie Jean Pickett at her parents house near Idaho Falls. Marjorie died in March 2004. In 1946, he started farming in the Goshen area with his parents and farmed until 1980. He worked for the Atomic Energy Commission's National Reactor Testing Station as a security patrolman. He used his carpentry skills during his retirement to build many house additions and garages in the Shelley/Firth (Idaho) area. They bought a small RV motor home and spent several winters in Overton, Nevada. Kenneth enjoyed traveling to his grandchildren's athletic events, high school and college graduations, birthdays and marriages.
