  Timothy Gardner Timothy M. Gardner, age 78, passed away ever so peacefully into the kingdom of heaven surrounded by family and friends on March 20,2020 after a short illness. He lived in Massena, New York until his retirement in 1999 when he and his wife Kathy moved to Red Oaks in Bushnell, Florida. Tim was born the son of George and Mabel Gardner on November 26,1941. Tim married Betty French on June 5, 1965. She predeceased him on December 25,1980. Tim married Kathy Steenberg on November 14,1987. He is survived by his wife Kathy Gardner, daughter, Tammy Gardner and partner John McElwain and sons; Timothy Gardner Jr., Terry Gardner and wife Bridgett, Scott Kocienski and wife Vickie, Christopher Kocienski, Corey Kocienski and wife Brandy. He loved his 21 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Tim was predeceased by his parents, George and Mabel Gardner, eight brothers; James, Andrew, Edward, George, Lawrence, Patrick, Horace, William, and seven sisters; Francis, Gladys, Mary, Hazel, Roberta, Margaret and Leila. Tim was the youngest of all of the children. Tim proudly served in the U.S. Army from August 30, 1963 to August 31, 1966 and left as PFC. After leaving the Army he was employed by St. Lawrence Transit Mix and then Graystone Materials. He had worked a total 30 years for both companies. He was a proud member of the New York State Teamsters Local 687. Tim's greatest love was his wife, children, family and friends. He was kind thoughtful and caring. He loved bowling and his New York Yankees. Tim will be laid to rest in the Calvary Cemetery in Massena New York at a later date. A graveside service is planned in the spring.
