- Priscilla Sterns, 92, of Lincoln, passed away July 27, 2016. Born February 21, 1924 in Firstview,
CO, the fourth of six children to Guy and Cora (Damrow) Eis. Ret. Registered Nurse. Graduate
of Wilber H.S. and St. Elizabeth?s School of Nursing. Member of First United Methodist Church.
She met Floyd Sterns the love of her life, in1948 at the Lincoln Train Station, where both were
going to South Bend, IN for the NE-ND football game. They were married over 50 years until his death in 2008. Together they had seven children. Worked: Lincoln Veterans Hospital, St.
Elizabeth?s Hospital, Lincoln, and hospitals in St. Louis, MO and Boulder CO. Volunteer LPS
school nurse.
Family members include children, Jon Sterns, Elizabeth Sterns (John Turner), all of Lincoln, David (Gina) Sterns, Omaha, William (Miriam) Sterns, Patrick Sterns, Michael Sterns, all of Lincoln, Barbara (Brooke) Sterns-Bulkeley, of Centerville Utah; 17 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; many loving nieces and nephews; family friend, Kathy Parent, Lincoln.
Preceded in death by parents; husband; sisters, Virginia McElroy and Phyllis Sims; brothers, Roy, Walter and Ralph Eis. Prior
Graveside Service: 9:30 a.m. Monday (8-1-16) Simmons-Saltillo Cemetery, Roca, NE.
Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m. Monday (8-1-16) First United Methodist, 2723 North 50th Street with Rev. Larry Moffet officiating.
