- Obituary of HAROLD DUVAL
Harold ?Butch? Duval, went home on June 29 at the Cornerstone Hospice. Butch and his wife Sam moved to Altoona with their horses from St. Augustine in the year 2000. Butch was the owner of Duval Heating and Air for 35 years. He was also a very successful horseman. After leaving the Navy, he began showing and judging Palamino Exhibitors. He had spent the last 25 years, with his beloved Arabians, which he competed in time distance racing. He was past president of the Florida Horseman Association, the oldest horse club in Florida.
He is survived by his wife Lynn ?Sam? Duval; daughter: Jillie Todd Duval of Jacksonville; step daughter: Kore Gause; step-son: Casey Caraba, both of St. Augustine; sisters: Cookie, St. Augustine; Rosie, Jacksonville; Cecelina, Charleston, SC; 6 nieces and nephews.
