- Graham, Edna L. 1920 - 2009 Always with a smile and one of the world's best huggers, a very special lady has been called Home. Edna L. Graham, on November 28, 2009, at St. Mary's of the Lake Hospital, Kingston. Edna was the wife of the late Alex Graham, Kingston. Mother of Sharon Godkin (Stu), the late Faye Steele (Bud), of Kingston, and Mark (Andrea deKraker), Odessa. Sister of Lera Chadwick (the late Ernie), Dorothy Snetsinger (the late Austin), of Cornwall and Keitha Smith (the late Gary) of Kingston and Sister-in-Law Alice Ostler (predeceased by brother Doug) of Cornwall. Edna is predeceased by her parents Albert and Ruby (Price) Ostler and sister Muriel Contant (the late Euclid) of Cornwall. Dear 'Nanny' to 5 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren and a one of a kind Aunt Ed to numerous nieces and nephews. A special thank you to all of Edna's care givers for making her last days a comfort to all. Friends will be received at James Reid Funeral Home 1900 John Counter Blvd. on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Celebration of her Life will take place Saturday, December 5, 2009 at 1 pm in the chapel, with Rev. Job VanHartingsveldt and Rev. Bill Hendry officiating. Interment of ashes to follow at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations to C.N.I.B., Strathcona Park Presbyterian Church, St. Mary's of the Lake Hospital, Palliative Care Unit or the Cancer Centre of South Eastern Ontario, Palliative Care Unit would be appreciated. Edna's hugs will be sorely missed by her large extended family of 'kids' and all who knew her, 'Hy N By' to all.
