- Paul H. Bevelhymer, 85, of Friendswood, Texas passed away January 17, 2009, in Nassau Bay, Texas. He was born August 28, 1923, in Wichita, Kansas to his parents, Gerald and Della Bevelhymer. Paul is survived by his loving wife of eight years, Sandra J. Bevelhymer; stepdaughter Sandra McGee of League City; son Jack H. Bevelhymer and wife Teresa of League City; stepson T.L Bender; sister Vicki Ames and husband Bob of Lakewood, Colorado; aunt Lois Figalino of Lakewood, Colorado; grandsons Adam Bevelhymer, Darryl L. McGee Jr. and wife Kris; great-granddaughter Haley McGee and numerous nieces and nephews.Paul was a graduate of Galveston Ball High School. He was a member of the Lions Club and Rotary in Texas City and was Municipal Judge in Hitchcock from 1960-1984. He proudly served our country in WWII where he served in the Navy on the USS Honolulu and was a Pearl Harbor survivor. He was the founder and CEO of Electronic Supply Company, Inc, in Texas City, Texas. The family is accepting friends Friday, January 23, 2009, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Crowder Funeral Home in Pearland, Texas.A funeral service will be held Saturday, January 24, 2009, at 3 p.m. at Crowder Funeral Home in Pearland, Texas with Pastor Bill Cole officiating. The family would like to give a special thanks to Paul?s caregivers; JR, Brenda, Brandy, Ira, Chanelle, Shayla, Maxine, Patricia, and Marilyn.
