- Darlene Hosey, 70, of Vermontville, MI died Monday, October 4, 2010. Mrs. Hosey was born September 11, 1940 in Vermontville, MI the daughter of Austin and Ruth (Briggs) Janousek. Mrs. Hosey retired as an employee for the State of Michigan. She enjoyed crosswords, collecting cookbooks and reading. Mrs. Hosey was especially fond of her grandchildren, doing genealogy and camping with her family. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Stanley; daughters, Kim (Duane) Eldred of Vermontville and Kristie (Anthony) Faynor of Vermontville; 5 grandchildren, Christopher, Katie and Emily Eldred, Ford and Quentin Faynor; sisters, Dawn Jones of Charlotte and Rosella "Susie" (Larry) Schulze of Charlotte; brother; Terry Janousek of Nashville; brothers-in-law, Eldon Hosey and Archie (Florence) Hosey; sisters-in-law, Phyllis Hosey and Lila Janousek. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Doug and Darrell Janousek. Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 7, 2010 at Pray Funeral Home, Charlotte, MI with Travis Nightengale officiating. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Maple Valley Scholarship Fund. Arrangements by Pray Funeral Home, Charlotte, MI.
