  Dawn Janousek Jones, 75, of Charlotte, MI died Monday, July 25, 2011. Ms. Jones was born February 15, 1936 in Vermontville, MI the daughter of Austin and Ruth (Briggs) Janousek. As a child on the family farm Dawn enjoyed riding horses with her sisters. She served in the W.A.C., Women?s Army Corp, until her marriage and then they moved around the country as an Army family returning to the Charlotte area in 1966. Ms. Jones was a clerk for the Eaton County Register of Deeds. She was a member of the Charlotte Eagles, and especially liked volunteering for the Handicapped Hayride Activity program. Ms. Jones was a Detroit Tiger Fan, and a country music fan with Waylon Jennings being one of her favorite artist. She enjoyed watching bull riding at the Rodeo, reading and doing crosswords out of the newspaper becoming a competition with her sister to see who could solve it first. She found the most enjoyment in life out of her grandchildren. She is survived by her son, Mike (Pamela) Jones; grandchildren, Faith and Carson and sister, Rosella ?Susie? (Larry) Schulze. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Douglas, Darrell, Terry and sister, Darlene Hosey. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 30, 2011 at Pray Funeral Home, Charlotte, MI with Reverend Charles Jenson officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Vermontville, MI.
