She attended a one-room schoolhouse through ninth grade and then attended tenth grade at Trenton High School. In August 1952, Lois married Allan "Bud" Seabrooke and soon moved to Frankford, Ontario and later to Whitby, Ontario. In 1966, they moved to Charlotte, Michigan. In May 1974, Lois married Vern Reynolds and they resided in Battle Creek for 36 years, spending 20 of those years during the winter at their home in Leesburg, Florida. Lois worked at Leila Hospital for an anesthesiology practice and held numerous positions at Lakeview Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Vern, in 2010, her sister and brother-in-law Nat and Audrey Wall, and niece Lois (Wall) Angman. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?'" (John 11:25-26).
