Notes |
- Anna Louise Boos passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at the age of 93. Anna was born July 13, 1920 in Battle Creek, Michigan to Alexander and Anna Mitchell. While living in Battle Creek Anna met Dick, the love of her life, on a blind date. They were happily married 67 years, residing most of those years in Okemos. Anna worked 37 years as an executive secretary for Telford and Doolen, Inc. in Lansing. Anna was a life member of Beta Sigma Phi, a national sorority of business women. Anna loved life and embraced everything she did with enthusiasm and joy. She played in two golf leagues until this past summer. Anna and Dick enjoyed traveling around the world, spending the past 30 winters in Naples, Florida where they were active in their church and the Thursday Morning Bible Study. While in Okemos, Anna and Dick were blessed by their home church, St. Luke Lutheran. Anna was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband, Richard. Anna will be missed by many dear friends, both in Michigan and Florida. Everywhere she went she made friends. Heaven's gain is our loss. A memorial service will take place Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 11:00 AM at St. Luke Lutheran Church, Haslett, MI. Visitation at 10:00 AM.
