    • Memorial services for Edel Kornelia Gabrielson, 635 S. Gamine Real, died Tuesday following a lengthy illness. A native of Norway, Mrs. Gabrielson had lived in Palm Springs for 25 years. She made her home at 635 S. Camino Real. Survivors are her daughter, Dawn Atkinson of Grants Pass, Ore.; two sisters, Gertrude Wiesick and Helen Gabrielson, both of Palm Springs; and one grandson, Barrett Scott Atkinson, also of Grants Pass. The Rev. John Heferlin, pastor of the Church of Religious Science, officiated at the service. Cremation followed. Wiefels and Son handled arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family had requested that any contributions be made to the American Cancer Society. --Desert Sun, May 28, 1971
