- GARDNER, Carol Audrey. Teacher at Roberta Bondar School Peacefully, with family by her side, at the Ottawa General Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved wife of Graeme Gardner. Proud mother of Samantha (Sean Pendlebury), Chris and Jaimee. Also survived by her sister Anne (Ken Koenderink) and Geoff Beale (Sue). Sadly missed by her brothers-in-law, Keith (Isabel) and Alex (Brenda Raciot). Long time director and sadly missed by the Capital Chordettes. Special thanks to all the staff on the 5th floor of the Ottawa General. Friends and family are invited to celebrate Carol's life at 2 p.m. on Friday, September 1, 2006 in Rideau Park United Church, 2203 Alta Vista Dr. Ottawa.
