- DICKIE, Donald James Peacefully at his home with his family by his side on Monday, July 26, 2004 at the age of 78. Beloved husband of Florence (nee Scott). Dear father to Ronald Dickie (Patti Saulnier). Loving grandfather to Myriah Saulnier. Donald is the son of the late Gordon and Ethel Dickie. Remembered by his sisters Lida Forbes and Helen Farmer. Predeceased by his brother Ralph and his sisters Evelyn and Mabel. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 28, 2004 from 1 p.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 2 p.m. in the Pinecrest Remembrance Chapel (2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa). Interment of the urn will follow. Family and friends will then gather for a reception in the Pinecrest Reception Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. --Published in The Ottawa Citizen on July 27, 2004
