    • McDERMID, Helen - Helen Mary McDermid passed away peacefully with her husband, Arthur McDermid of 52 years by her side at the Georgian Heights Nursing Home on Friday February 25th, 2011 at the age of 85. Dear sister of Henry and his wife Gladys Roesch. Helen will be dearly missed by her nieces Barbara Beckette, Linda Peters, and nephew John Roesch, her other relatives and friends. Resting at the BRECKENRIDGE ASHCROFT FUNERAL HOME, 241 9th Street West, Owen Sound where the family will receive visitors on Wednesday March 2nd, 2011 between the hours of 2:00 - 4:00 pm and 6:00 - 7:00 pm. A funeral Service will follow at 7:00 pm in the Funeral Home. Interment at Mount View Mausoleum in Cambridge on Thursday March 3rd, 2011 at 11:00 am. As an expression of sympathy donations to the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated by the family.
