  Ross M. Cadwallader, Battle Creek, age 87, died Sunday, April 12, 2015, at Bronson Battle Creek. Ross was born on June 27, 1927, in Hastings, MI, the son of Clinton and Mae (Carter) Cadwallader. He was a graduate of Hastings High School and a lifelong resident of the area. He was a veteran serving in the U.S. Army. On August 19, 1966, he was united in marriage to the former Dorotha M. Thomas who preceded him in death in 2007. Ross was employed at Post Cereals for 38 years retiring in 1986. He enjoyed bowling, shuffleboard, garage sales and wintering in Sebring, FL. Surviving are his children, Don E. (Diane) Thomas and Melanie A. Cadwallader; daughter-in-law, Barbara Thomas; 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Paul E. Thomas and a daughter, Allyson Cadwallader-Craft. Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, April 16, 2015, at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Lancaster Cemetery in Lancaster, IN. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The American Heart Association .
