- Margueritte (Peg) Rollins. 87, of Marshall, died in the care of her family at the home of her daughter, Fran Boughton of Marshall, on Monday morning, April 19, after a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Rollins was born July 8, 1911 in Fredonia Township to Ira and Effie Pearl (Wetmore) Hoyt. She attended country school in Fredonia Township. She was well known in the Fredonia Township area as the owner and operator of the former Ellis Corners Store, which she ran from 1947 until 1976. She was also preceded in death by her four brothers, Art, Edward, Ernest, and Robert Hoyt, and her sisters, Mary Cole and Joyce Hoyt.
