- Bruce Michael HOLDREN Bruce, 58, passed away peacefully at his home October 29th after an inspirational 4 ½ year battle with prostate cancer. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Dianne, and their children, Brian, Stacy, Michael, and Travis, as well as his extended family and a wealth of friends. Bruce was active in his Church, the Boys and Girls Club and other charitable and volunteer organizations. He remained active until briefly before his passing, enjoying work and his passion for traveling and the outdoors. A celebration of his life will be held at the First Presbyterian Church of Bellevue, 1717 Bellevue Way NE, on November 18th at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made to the UW Medicine Institute for Prostate Cancer Research Fund or The Bruce Holdren Memorial Scholarship Fund through the Bellevue Boys and Girls Club.
