- R. Scott Ridge, 55, of Houston, formerly Baytown, was born April 4, 1953 in Dilley, TX and passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at home. He was a 1971 graduate of Ross S. Sterling High School and received his Associate's Degree from Lee College and was an electrical engineer at Jacobs Engineering. He attended Trinity Tabernacle Assembly of God Church while growing up and was currently attending Mont Belvieu Assembly of God Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Ridge and uncle, Gregory Brake. He is survived by his fiancée, Kathy Johnson of Baytown; son and daughter-in-law, Kirk and Clarissa Ridge of Pasadena; daughters, Angela Ridge and Amanda Ridge, both of Houston; mother and stepfather, Maryann and Dennis Campbell of White Settlement; brothers and sister-in-law, Jeffrey Lee Ridge of Fort Worth and Tracy and Susan Ridge of Weatherford; sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Dan Frost of Talequah, OK; uncles and aunts, Dell and Sue Brake of Midlothian and Jack and Terry Brake of Fort Worth; and grandsons, Noah, Asher and Fynnlan.
His family will receive friends Friday, March 27, 2009 beginning at 1:00 p.m. at Trinity Tabernacle Assembly of God Church, 1008 E. Lobit Ave, Baytown, TX 77520 with a memorial service to follow at 2:00 p.m.
