- Daughter of Edward Monsell and Ellen Albee, wife of William Preston Smith and mother of Mildred P. (married John Percival Coslick) and Frances M. Smith (married W. Wallace Guest).
Obituary - Mrs. Fannie G. Smith, 91, died Feb. 27 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mildred Coslick of Bridgehampton, after a long illness. Mrs. Smith was the widow of the late W. Preston Smith.
Surviving are Mrs. Coslick, Mrs. Frances Guest of Merrick, also a daughter; a sister, Mrs. George Cramer of New London, Conn.; three grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Smith was a member of the King's Daughters. Funeral services were held Saturday at the Brockett Funeral Home, Southampton, the Rev. Richard Manning officiating. Burial was in Bellport.
