  MERIDEN - Barbara H. Beall, 76, wife of David M. Beall, died on Thursday, Dec. 27, 2007, at MidState Medical Center. Born in Williamstown, Mass. on Sept. 1, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Leona Warner. She had resided in Meriden since 1958. Mrs. Beall graduated Drury High School in No. Adams, Mass. and attended Pittsfield General Hospital School of Nursing. Mrs. Beall was last employed at Curtis Home and was a volunteer with the American Cancer Society. Besides her husband, David, she is survived by two daughters, Karen Beall of Wadsworth, Ohio and Donna M. Walters of Daytona Beach, Fla.; four grandchildren, Timothy P. Schnick and his wife, Angie of Wadsworth, Ohio, Jennifer Schnick of Meriden, Shannon R. Piatek and her husband, Josh of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. and Thomas M. Walters of Daytona Beach, Fla.; three great-grandchildren, Michael, Makayla and Abigail; a sister, Lorna Valotta of No. Adams, Mass.; a brother, Loren Warner of Atlanta, Ga.; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held on Wednesday, Jan 2, 2008, at 8 p.m. at the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 East Main St., Meriden. Friends may call at the Funeral Home on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 538 Preston Ave., Meriden, CT 06450. The family wishes to extend their thanks for the excellent care and compassion shown to Barbara by the staff of Pavilion D and ICU.
