- Carrie Lee (Eaton) ?Sister? Klewiec, 54, Jefferson Township, PA (formerly of Sutton, MA), went home to be with the Lord on November 22, 2013 surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was the wife of her loving husband, Jeffrey A. Klewiec. Married on October 26, 1980, they had just celebrated their thirty-third anniversary.
Born in Worcester, MA, she was a daughter of the late Larry J. and Teresa B. (Maroni) Eaton. Carrie, known as ?Sister? to most, and her husband Jeff were the owners of Carrie?s Corner Restaurant in Sutton. In 1991, Jeff and Sister moved to Berks County, PA and joined her family?s business, Eaton Farms. She enjoyed working for the family business, where she was manager of production and propagation.
Sister was an active member of Hillside Church of Christ, Reinholds, PA, where she enjoyed fellowship, bible study, and her Christian family. In her free time she enjoyed playing Yahtzee, dominos, knitting and pinocle with family and friends.
Sister was a loving, caring and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her husband, she was survived by four children, Jamieson Klewiec, Travis Klewiec both of Leesport, PA, Martin husband of Amy (Grindrod) Klewiec, of Mohrsville, PA and Cord Klewiec, of Jefferson Township, PA. She was also survived by three grandchildren, Isabel, Brennan, and Madison Lee; three brothers, twin Gary O. Eaton, Donald L. Eaton, both of Jefferson Township, PA and Clark D. Eaton of Oxford, MA; and two sisters, Allison (Eaton) Gelsebach, wife of Timothy Gelsebach, of Leesport, PA and Jody (Eaton) Hand of West Reading, PA. She also had many loving nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday, November 27, 2013 from 8:30-10:30am at Bean Funeral Home, 3825 Penn Ave., Sinking Spring, PA 19608. Memorial Services will be Wednesday 11:00 am at Hillside Christian Church, 3322 E. Galen Hall Rd., Reinholds, PA 17569. Burial will be at Pleasant View Cemetery.
