- Jane Nobbs King, 73, of Springfield, passed away on Monday, April 9, 2007. She was born in Springfield to the late Stanley and Ruth Nobbs. She was a graduate of the High School of Commerce. Jane was a devoted housewife and mother. She spent much of her time with family and enjoyed preparing meals for the family, elderly neighbors and the homeless. She enjoyed day trips to Foxwoods. And she was the greatest Coupon Queen you would ever have the pleasure of knowing! Jane is survived by her husband of 55 years, Paul N. King, Sr. They were married at Old First Church of Springfield. She also leaves 6 children: Paul N. King, Jr. of Maine, Allan D. King, Sr. and his wife Laurie of Northboro, Karen King Sierakowski and her husband Michael of Ware, Richard D. King, Sr. and his wife Nancy of Chicopee, Robert N. King, Sr. and his wife Delmira of Chicopee, and Laura Lynn King Hendrickson and her husband David of Feeding Hills. She also leaves her 15 grandchildren: Deena, Jason, Allan Jr., Patrick, Michael Jr., Crystal, Melissa, Richard Jr., Jennifer, Zachary, Katrina, Kayla, Robert Jr., Thomas, and Joseph. She leaves 6 great-grandchildren. Jane also leaves two sisters: Judith Nobbs Webber and her husband Edgar of Penn Yan, NY, and Gail Nobbs Brown and husband James of Hobe Sound, FL. Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial service that will be held promptly at 3:00 pm on Friday, April 13th, in the chapel at the Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main Street, Agawam, MA. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in her memory to the Shriner's Children's Hospital
