- Mrs. Frances Pearl Fitch, 91, a resident of The Alliance Community for Retirement Living in Deland, FL, and formerly of Kissimmee, FL, passed away on Wednesday March 2, 2011 at Florida Hospital Deland. Frances was born in Ambridge, Pennsylvania on June 6, 1919, the daughter of the late James Hallie and Adele Marie (Ribisl) Hughes. She attended Nyack Missionary Training Institute (now Nyack College) from 1939 to 1942. She married Latham Fitch, her husband of 60 years, in 1947. She enjoyed working with her hands creating crafts for many friends and family. She, along with her late husband Latham, was a most gracious and capable hostess. She was preceded in death by her husband Latham Neal Fitch in 2008 and her brother Carl Hughes. Frances is survived by her son and daughter-in-law of Tallahassee, FL; a grandson of Tallahassee, FL; a granddaughter and her husband of Deltona FL; a great granddaughter; a sister of Kissimmee, FL. A memorial service will be held at the Community Church in Good Samaritan Village of Kissimmee, FL. at a later date. Arrangements under the direction of Osceola Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 1717 Old Boggy Creek Road, Kissimmee, FL.
