    • Louis J. Kujawski, 88 of Higganum husband of the late Phyllis B. (Goff) Kujawski died Friday, September 19, 2014 at Chesterfield Health Care. He was born in Middlefield the son of the late Andrew and Bronia (Ziobron) Kujawski.
      Prior to his retirement he was employed at Jarvis Products Corporation for forty years. He was a veteran of World War II serving with the U.S. Navy in the pacific theater of operations. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Louis could fix or make anything. He was skilled at making fishing poles and designed and built his own rotary vise to aide in the tying in the eyelets.
      Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Biega Funeral Home 3 Silver Street, Middletown. Friends may call Wednesday prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m. Burial with military honors will be held at Middlefield Cemetery. Those who wish may send memorial contributions to Alzheimer's Association CT Chapter.
