- Andrew F. Seamster Jr., 61, Low Moor, died Monday, June 23, 2008, at home.
He was born March 23, 1947, in Henderson, North Carolina, to Andrew, Sr. and Helen (Stebbins) Seamster. Andy married Margaret Hall, November 27, 1965. He was employed as a fire fighter for the Clinton Fire Department from 1980 until 1999. Most recently, Andy was employed by Wal-Mart.
He was a longtime member of the Low Moor Fire Department and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Surviving are his wife, Margaret; a son, Andrew III, and his wife, Becky, Clinton; granddaughters, Tonya Smith and Toshia Seamster; sisters, RosaAnn Seamster and her fiance, Jim, Camanche, Sadie Abdul, Connecticut, Helen Weiss, New Jersey and Louise Robinson, Georgia; brothers, Robert Shabarekh and his wife, Terri, Tennessee, Tony Shabarekh, Connecticut, and Bill Shabarekh, Georgia; nieces and nephews, Robin (Angie) Bates and Lisa (Mike) Overstake, Delmar and Karla (Wayne) Patterson, Connecticut.
Preceding Andy in death were his parents.
Funeral services will be held at Lemke Funeral Home-South, Clinton, at 10 a.m. Friday with Pastor Morry Renkes officiating. Burial will be at Sterling Cemetery, Sabula. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 until 8 p.m. Thursday.
Pallbearers will be Mike Fullan, James Fullan, Frederick Roling, DuWayne Ottens, Mike McDonald and Bruce Austin. Honorary pallbearers will be Dennis Hoefer, Steve Ramirez, Kent Ketelsen, Robin Bates, Mike Overstake, Casey Hausch and Chad James.
