    RINTOUL - The death of James Alexander Rintoul age 55 years of Simpson, Sask. occurred at Regina on Sunday July 20, 1986 following a highway accident near Holdfast, Sask. The funeral service will be held at St. John's United Church Simpson, Sask. on Wednesday July 23 at 2 p.m. conducted by Miss Elinor Cox. Interment will be in Simpson Cemetery. Predeceased by his father Ray Rintoul in Jim is survived by his loving wife, Viola; one daughter Lois and husband Kurt Vanthuyne of Simpson; six sons: Blake Rintoul of Regina, Garnet (Leanne) Rintoul of Regina, Murray (Corrine) Rintoul of Regina, Ray Rintoul of Simpson, Craig (Kathy) Rintoul of Regina, Wade Rintoul of Simpson; also five grandchildren and his mother Florence (Elden) Mcintosh of Simpson. Jim farmed in the Simpson district for many years and latter years was employed by South Construction of Regina during the summer months. For those so wishing donations to the Simpson Cemetery Fund would be appreciated. Fotheringham's Funeral Service of Watrous, Sask. in charge of arrangements.

    Man Identified
    Craik RCMP have identified James Rintoul, 55, of Simpson as the man killed in a two-vehicle accident Sunday night in the Craik area.
    According to a Craik RCMP spokesman, Rintoul was travelling southbound on Highway No. 2 when his truck was in collision with a westbound half-ton truck coming off a grid road onto the highway about 40 kilometres southeast of Craik.
    The driver of the other vehicle was not injured in the accident.
    RCMP are investigating.
