Grace E. (Banning) Baker, 84, of Rockville and wife of the late, Warren Leslie Baker entered into Eternal Rest on December 24, 2008, at home surrounded by her family. Grace was born on January 22, 1924, in Stafford Springs, CT the daughter of the late Frank Winslow and Nellie (Marsdale) Banning. Grace is survived by her son, Rick Baker and his fianc, Jody Borris of Mesa, Arizona; two daughters, Debra Bohenko and her husband, George of Rockville and Karen George and her husband, Paul of Long Beach, California. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Amy Golden, Emily Marsh, and Todd Bohenko; four great-grandchildren, Tyler, Zachary, Shane, and Kayci Bohenko. There are no calling hours and graveside services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Small & Pietras Funeral Home, 65 Elm St., Rockville. The family wishes to thank the volunteers with VNCC (Visiting Nurse & Community Care) and the volunteers with Caring Hands. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in memory of Grace will be made to the Visiting Nurse & Health Services of Connecticut, 8 Keynote Dr., Vernon, CT 06066.
