- Margaret Banning Carder, of Fox Glen, Cromwell, died Saturday at home. She was 77.
She was born in Stafford Springs and lived in Cromwell and Portland most of her life.
She leaves two sons, Richard Williams of Meriden and John Williams of Maine; a daughter, Evelyn Sadlowski of East Hampton; a brother, LeRoy Banning of Stafford; two sisters, Grace Baker of Vernon and Marcia Mather of Vermont; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral is Wednesday at 6 p.m. in Fox Glen Senior Center, West Street, Cromwell. Interment will be private in Stafford Springs Cemetery, Stafford Springs.
Calling hours at the Fox Glen Senior Center are Wednesday, from 5 to 6 p.m. Contributions may be made to Disabled American Veterans Association, 450 Main St., Suite 126, Hartford, CT 06103. The Cromwell Funeral Home, 506 Main St., Cromwell, is in charge of arrangements.
