  Kathryn Viola Lee Banning of Blake Street, of the Ivoryton section of Essex, died Saturday at Middlesex Hospital. She was 90. She was born in Deep River and lived in Ivoryton for 50 years. She is survived by a son, Dennis W. Banning of Hartland, Vt.; two brothers, Robert Lee of Deep River and George Lee of Killingworth; a sister, Ruby Walden of the Centerbrook section of Essex; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Her husband, Fred Banning Sr., died previously. A private funeral and burial will be in Centerbrook Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. The Robinson, Wright & Weymer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
