Notes |
- Agnes T. Moberg, 90, resident of Hayden, Idaho, passed away Sept. 23, 2014, at home.
Agnes was born Jan. 26, 1924, in San Francisco, Calif., to James A. Dillon and Teresa A. Kane Dillon. She married the love of her life, Donald L. Moberg, on Feb. 14, 1942, in Los Angeles, Calif.
Agnes and Donald moved to Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, in 1973 from Los Angeles. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, and was most proud of living long enough to enjoy five generations of her family.
Although she worked outside of the home for awhile to help support her family, Agnes most enjoyed being a homemaker. She was an avid craftswoman and participated in several craft shows in the northwest. She was a member of St. Pius Catholic Church in Coeur d'Alene.
Agnes was preceded in death by her husband, Donald, on Jan. 6, 1997. She is survived by her three sons, Don (Jr.), Larry and Dan; daughters-in-law (whom she considered her daughters), Claudia, Linda and Maria; five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
A Vigil will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 1, at English Funeral Chapel, 1133 N. 4th St., Coeur d'Alene. Her funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 2, at St. Pius Catholic Church, 625 Haycraft Ave., Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.
