Resident of Monrovia for 40 years, passed away March 30, 2006. She was born in Quebec City, Canada, and in her 20's moved to the U.S. where she met her husband Robert Moberg, who passed away in 1997. Solange is survived by her four sons, Daniel, Robert, Alan, Sheldon, and six grandchildren. In midlife, Solange's artistic free spirit led her to the arts and eventually ceramics where she made quite a name for herself. She was often exhibited at local galleries and shows, and was known for throwing huge chimney flues for custom homes. Solange turned to teaching in her later years. The funeral service with be held at Douglass and Zook, Monrovia, at 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, April 8th. Graveside Service will follow at Live Oak Memorial Park, Monrovia. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
