- Conrad P. Poulson, 64, of 17 Boutelle St., died Monday, Oct. 28, in HealthAlliance Hospital/Leominster, after a long illness.
Born Nov. 6, 1937, in Fitchburg, he was the son of Alfred C. and Mary I. (Dutkowski) Poulson, and had lived here for most of his life. A 1955 graduate of Leominster High School, he later graduated from the former Stevens Business College in Fitchburg and from the Bentley School of Accounting and Finance in Waltham.
He was a paratrooper in the Army?s 82nd Airborne Division.
Mr. Poulson worked for 26 years at the former Goodhue Marine Inc.
He was a member of Pilgrim Congregational Church in Leominster, the Leominster Sportsmen?s Club and was a past president and treasurer of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Leominster Aerie 477.
Mr. Poulson had been active in the Boy Scouts of America, serving as Scoutmaster for a troop in Littleton before getting involved with Troop 4 in Leominster, where he served for more than 20 years on the troop committee.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He leaves his wife of 18 years, Cathy A. (Boothman) Poulson; two daughters, Linsey C. Poulson of Leominster and Heather M. Almy of Pepperell; a brother, Ronald E. Poulson of Lunenburg; and a sister, Andrea C. Miller of Leominster.
