- Richard"Dick" M. Warner, 67, of Harness Dr., Meriden, beloved husband of Suzanne (Dobbin) Warner, lost his battle to cancer on Thursday, (December 13, 2007) at Middlesex Hospital. He was born in Middletown, the son of the late Joseph and Alma (Thompson) Warner. Dick was self-employed providing mechanical inspections throughout Connecticut. Besides his wife, he is survived by three sons, William Warner of Middletown, Robert Warner and his wife Amanda of East Hampton, Dean Warner and his wife Barbara Jo of Middletown; a daughter, Sherilyn D'Erocle of Meriden; a step-son, Gerald Gillanders, Jr. of Harrah, OK; a step-daughter, Heather D'Antonio and her husband Jay of East Hampton; two sisters, Beverly Carlson of East Hampton, and Sharon Visintainer of East Hampton; nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Ramona Warner. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Haddam Neck Covenant Church, 17 Haddam Neck Rd., East Hampton. Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery in Middle Haddam. Friends may call at the Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St., Middletown Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the CT Oncology Group, Patient Support, 536 Saybrook Rd., Middletown, CT 06457.
