- Raymond L. Finney , 83, formerly of Syracuse, died Saturday in Zephyrhills, Fla.
A native of Cayuga, he resided in the Syracuse area most of his life. He retired as vice president of the Marjax Corp. and was the former owner of Ray's Diner in Solvay.
Mr. Finney was the former village clerk in Solvay. An Army veteran of World War II, he was a member of the Stanley B. Pennock Post VFW 2893.
Surviving are his wife, Margaret; two sons, Raymond J. of Cicero and Robert W. of Camillus; two sisters, Marjorie Arendos of Dunedin, Fla., and Ada Owens of East Syracuse; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the John C. Tindall Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Mary's of the Lake Cemetery, Skaneateles.
