  Jack served in World War II earning a purple heart in the 1st. Marines. In 1985 Jack and Lois moved to Elkins Lake in Huntsville, after retiring from 40 yrs. at Stran Steel Corp. Jack was an avid golfer, President of the MGA of Elkins Lake , a member of the Legionnaires and an Elk. He is survived by his wife Lois, son William and wife Robin of Spring, grandchildren June Herman and husband Brett of Austin, and Dr. James Lent of West Hollywood, Ca.
