    • Herbert L. Treat, 84, died July 5, 1993. He was a native of Mount Pleasant, NJ, and had been a resident of Fort Pierce for 20 years, coming from Auburn, NY.
      Mr. Treat was a building supervisor for Cayuga County, N.Y., for 19 years. A U.S. Army veteran, he was a member of First Baptist Church of White City, where he was active in the church.
      Survivors include his wife, Eleanor Treat of Fort Pierce; three sons, Charles Treat of Fort Pierce, and James Parsons and William Parsons, both of Auburn, NY; one daughter, Mary O`Hara of Fort Pierce; one brother, Clarence Treat of Skaneateles, NY; two sisters, Doris Drake of Lakeland and Ruth Nelson of Iowa City, IA; 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
      Memorial contributions are suggested to First Baptist Church of White City, 903 W Midway Road, Fort Pierce, FL 34982.
      Services: A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church of White City, with the Rev. John Hancock, pastor, officiating.
