- February 7, 2012 Elizabeth M. "Pam" McGlen Burgdorf, 87, of Fair Haven, NY, died Tuesday. Born in North Hannibal, she graduated from Hannibal High School and S.U.N.Y. Oswego with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education. Pam was a second-grade school teacher with Hannibal Central Schools where she retired in 1979. She was a communicant of St. Jude's Chapel, Fair Haven. Pam was a charter member of the American Legion Prior Stock Post #1552 Auxiliary, charter member of the Hannibal Volunteer Fire Company Auxiliary, New York State Retired Teachers Association, T.O.P.S., and the Sterling Senior Citizens. She was a former member of Shirts and Skirts. Pam was predeceased by her first husband, Lyle McGlen, who died in 1987. She is survived by her husband, Charles H. Burgdorf of Fair Haven; two daughters, Dr. Nancy (Joseph Gadawski) McGlen of Grand Island and Mary (Bernie) Dominick of Minetto; one son, Fred McGlen of Oswego; cousin Dorothy Williams of Fulton; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A memorial Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday, May 5, 2012, at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 923 Cayuga Street, Hannibal. Contributions in Pam's memory may be made to: Agnes H.
