Mrs. Cecelia Scott Lynch Chollar, 51, wife of John Sandford Chollar, 595 Lakeview Road, Fairfield, died 26 September 1964 in her home after an illness of a year.
Services took place at the Long Hill funeral home of Mullins and Redgate, Main Street & Gorham Place, Trumbull, and at St. Pius X Church, Fairfield, with a requiem Mass. Burial was in Ivendell cemetery, Somers, NY.
Mrs. Chollar, born in Tarrytown NY, was a resident of Fairfield five years. She was a member of the Rosary Guild of St. Pius X church, and the Council of Catholic Women; president three years ago of the Newcomers Club of Fairfield; a 1934 graduate of Mount St. Vincent's College in New York; a member of the college's alumni association.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, are two daughters, Catherine E. and Susan M. Chollar, of Fairfield CT; and three sisters, Sister Mary Chrysostom of Mount St. Vincent's College, Miss Mary Lynch, and Miss Lucy Lynch, both of Tarrytown.
