    • CHOLLAR, Dorothy "Babe" 82 yrs old of Galena and formerly of Dayton, Ohio died at home on Nov. 22, 2001. Dorothy was born on Mar. 10, 1919 at Akron, Ohio the daughter of Roy & Sara Watson Daum. Survived by two daughters: Sally Si (Larry) Priske of Galena, IL and Susan & (Don) Brinkman of Akron, OH and by three grandchildren; Amy Priske of Galena and Chris & Scott Brinkman of Akron, OH and by two great grandchildren, Preston and Eva Brink-man of Akron, and a niece: Jane Lieber of Ohio and by two stepchildren: Susan Chollar & Cathy McMahon and her favorite pet Tucker the Cat. Preceded in death by her parents and a sister Jane McWilliams and by her husbands: Art Carley, Robert Leingang and Jack Chollar. Dorothy found such delight even in the smallest things. She had such a love of life and her friends. She will be terribly missed by her family and friends. Memorial services will be held on Sunday, Nov. 25th 2001 at 3 PM at the Grace Episcopal Church in Galena with Father Bob North officiating. Burial of the cremains will be at a later date. The Furlong Funeral Chapel in Galena in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers donations may be given to The Dubuque Iowa Human Society or The Hospice of Dubuque, Iowa.
