Peter's memory will always be cherished by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Peter's personality was larger than life. He could go anywhere in Ottawa and was sure to know someone. He had a great sense of humour that stayed with him right to his last days. Peter was an avid golfer and member of the Mississippi Golf Club for 54 years, including 33 years on the Board of Directors. He was thrilled that the Mississippi named its pub in his honour, now known as Peter's Pub. The Club also founded the Peter O'Connor Senior Invitational tournament. He spent his 39-year career in the construction industry, primarily with Lafarge Canada in Hull, and Lafarge Pipe and Precast in Ottawa. The family would like to thank the staff at the Queensway Carleton Hospital and the Ottawa Cancer Centres. Friends may pay respects atKelly Funeral Home - Kanata Chapel 580 Eagleson Rd. 613-591-6580
