- Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday May 20, 2014 at the age of 81 years. Beloved wife of the late Clifford Badour. Cherished mother of Chris (Denise), Rodney (Annette) and Lois Ducharme (Norm). Loving grandmother of Cherie Sprout (Dave), Melanie Tyrrell (Chris), Stephen Perron, Michael Badour (Pam), Dawn Badour (Erin), Mandy Mohr (Kevin), Allison Badour (Darren Leach) and Krista Badour. Special great-grandmother to Cali Randell, Oliver Mohr, Damon Leach and Bryce Ducharme.
Dear sister of Jacqueline Morissette (Charlie), Joyce Clement (late Roger), William (Janet) Pretty, Nona (Gerry) Worth and Don Pretty. Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents John and Ardella (née Cook) Pretty and by one sister Ruth Martin (late Stu). Joy worked at United Supply for many years as well as doing the bookkeeping for the family business, Kamiscotial Bus Lines. Funeral Service will be held at the First Baptist Church on Friday May 23 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Timmins Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday May 22 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at LESSARD-STEPHENS Funeral Home. Remembrance donations to the Gideon Society, the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
