Eldest son of the late Mack and Jean Barr and son-in-law of Addie Elliott and the late Dolphie Elliott. Dear father of Lynda (Keith) Sweeney of Lanark, Barbara McCann of Carleton Place, Allan (Joyce) Barr of Ottawa, Maxine (Rick) Topping of Balderson, Susan (Paul) Shane and Randy (Donna Wilson) both of Lanark and Beth (Barry) Bulloch of Balderson. Surviving are brothers Dan (Peggy) and Glen Barr and sisters Lulu (the late Bill Craig), Dorothy (Ollie) Wallace and Ruth (the late Gordy) Houston. Leonard was predeceased by brothers Peter, Harris, Ronald, Jack, Graydon, Craig, Donnie and Dewey. Fondly remembered by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Leonard was well known for his baseball pitching and his love of the game. He had a talent for fine woodworking and fiddle making and his masonry expertise is evident in the many fieldstone fireplaces that he built. Leonard was proud of his fiddles and enjoyed when Jack and Gerald dropped in for "A tune" - Thanks guys.
