- Born on June 25, 1923 in Fayetteville, Arkansas to James and Jennie Winkle. She went to be with our Lord on July 2, 2017 in Spokane, Washington one week after her 94th birthday. Genny is survived by two daughters; three grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law; and numerous nieces and nephews and extended family members. Preceded in death by her husband, Charles "Tom" Weyer; a son; a granddaughter; two sisters; and a brother. Genny worked as a clerk for K-Mart for many years before retiring. She was a life member of Eagles Lodge Aerie 2 Auxiliary, D.A.V. Auxiliary and V.F.W. 1474 Auxiliary. Genny enjoyed dancing and bowling. The family would like to thank all the caregivers who helped comfort her. A celebration of Genny's life will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at RIPLINGER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 4305 N. Division, Spokane, WA. Interment will follow at Peone Cemetery.
