- GILES, Scott - Employee for the Pro Desk at Home Depot - Nepean Store (June 17, 1960 - July 22, 2011) With very heavy hearts, we let you know that Scott passed away on Friday. Going the way he would want to go, in his sleep, while dreaming of the next wood project. With sadness and to ask "why" he leaves behind his "sunshine" Judy Vance, his children "Spud" Bruce (Nicole Hall), "Pooh" Tara (Wayne Campbell) and his little "girlie" granddaughter Bronwyn. Scott was a Grandson of Ernie and Irene Giles (McGregor) and George and Agnes Smith (Murray) all predeceased. Scott was the son of Menzie Giles (predeceased) and Agnes Giles (Smith). He was the beloved brother of Debbie (Dennis Carey), Kathy (Wally Cieslukowski), Brent Giles (Charlene Audet), Brad Giles (Kim). He was son in law and great friend to Eddie and Ila (predeceased) Vance and another brother for Don (Janet), Bill (Melaina), Barry(Joanne) and Dale Vance. Special Uncle to Shannon, Maighan, Matthew, Ryan, Justin, Sherrie (Cory), Katie, Erin, Sandy, Gracey & Nathan. He also leaves behind many Aunts, Uncles and cousins. His love and companionship will be greatly missed by his extra special cousins the Patersons and their extended family. Following cremation, visitation will be at the Carp Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes 115 Rivington Street Carp, Ontario on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 from 6 - 9 p.m. Memorial service will be held in the chapel on Thursday July 28, 2011 at 1:00 pm followed by burial at Auld Kirk Cemetery, Almonte, ON.
